Boy oh boy! Amelia is changing like crazy! It seems like some days are normal and the next she has picked up several new things at once!
Last weekend she started the motions to kiss. Oh my god it was the most adorable thing ever! We were at my cousin Jessica's graduation party, and Amelia leaned in when my cousin Daniel, a father himself, went to give her a kiss. I couldn't believe my eyes! She learns so quickly it's kind of scary.
My last post said she was turning over, but now, she is REALLY turning over and REALLY moving! I have to get a little gate for the apartment so she doesn't move to an unwelcome spot, like where all the cords are!
Today was a day to remember too. She is 95% of the way to sitting up on her own. I watched it on the monitor--Eric and I used gift cards from Babies R Us to buy a video monitor and I wish I would have done that sooner! What a hoot!!! We can watch what she does in the crib, which is always full of acrobatic maneuvers.
