Sunny Sunday

Time change can be rough! We tried keeping Amelia up a little late last night, Halloween (pictures to come soon). It kind of worked since Amelia technically slept until 6:30ish which would have been 7:30ish if not for the switch.

I took Amelia to Peet's, our favorite morning hangout, for a little over an hour so Eric could get some exta sleep.

When it was clearly time to come home, I put her down for a nap, which only lasted 45 min max. My friend Jessica's son, Garland, seemed to be on the same wavelength as Amelia and took a similarly short nap.

To give Eric yet another break, and give Amelia some fresh air, Jessica and I met at the park.

It was perfect in the shade, though it always moves and makes it difficult to settle in. We hung out for almost 2 hours--playing with stacking toys (which Amelia has mastered already), and used Garland's walker toy to chase after all the cute doggies on Ocean Ave.

After all the walking and playing, we were hungry and went out for lunch. Tender Greens is a favorite in Culver City and both Eric and I ran into friends while waiting for the food!

A nice patron gave us a hat from the nearby Hello Kitty art show. It fit Amelia perfectly!

All in all, a really nice Sunday afternoon!
