MIA: Coming out of the fog

Well, last month was a doozey! Along with our already poor sleeping habits, Amelia got yet ANOTHER virus! That's right, another one. This time, it was more like the flu and it came with horrible congestion.

To make a long story short, I got no sleep last month. Amelia was very needy and I held her, rocked her, drove her, walked her for most of her naps, if she took them at all! This of course translates into zero free time. When I did manage to get some time, I was usually so exhausted that I couldn't even look at the monitor.

Something happened this week. Actually, just these last few days; Amelia is starting to sleep again. Hallelujah! It takes a while to get her down, but not nearly as long. And, I have been able to put her in the crib for naps rather than hold her for the entire time!

So, I started to look at pictures and download video. Though I'll admit that last month's selection is a bit thin, there are some great pictures and videos which I will be posting. Her last virus was detected around the 14th of August and she started to sleep better almost exactly a month later. How do you like that.
